Leket Israel

Leket Israel, the National Food Bank of Israel, rescues food and delivers it to 300 non-profit organizations that feed tens of thousands of undernourished Israeli children and adults daily. In 2011 Leket Israel distributed over 21 million pounds of food.

Christians who are touring Israel and looking for a unique experience are encouraged to volunteer for Leket. This unity of Christians and Jews working side by side supports the work of God in Israel. Even a one-hour stop makes for a pleasant change in a typical itinerary and makes a world of difference for the hungry in the Holy Land
