The New Catholic and Jewish Documents on Jewish-Catholic Relations: A Theological Discussion

Both the Vatican and 25 Orthodox Rabbis independently issued new statements on the Church and the Jewish People.

Reverend Russell McDougall and Rabbi Dr. Eugene Korn, two leading theologians in Jewish-Catholic relations, will discuss the significance of the Vatican’s statement "The Gifts & the Calling of G-d are Irrevocable" and the ground-breaking rabbinic statement, “To Do the Will of Our Father in Heaven.”

Rabbi Dr. Eugene Korn, currently serves as the Academic Director for CJCUC.
Ordained by the Israeli Rabbinate, Rabbi Korn earned a PhD. in philosophy at Columbia University, and he has taught at Columbia, Yeshiva and the Graduate Department of Judeo-Christian Studies of Seton Hall University.

Reverend Russell McDougall, currently serves as the Rector for Tantur Ecumenical Institute and he has been an ordained priest of the Congregation of Holy Cross since 1991. He holds a masters of divinity from the University of
Notre Dame and a licentiate of sacred scripture from the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome.
